Evanthia Sakellari is Associate Professor in the Department of Public and Community Health at the University of West Attica, Athens, Greece. She is a member of the Laboratory of Hygiene and Epidemiology where she leads the Health Promotion special academic unit. Evanthia Sakellari holds a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Turku (Finland) and has extensive research experience at both national and international levels which has resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications. She teaches and supervises theses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Greece and Europe. Additionally, she collaborates closely with the Greek Ministry of Health in the development and evaluation of school-based health education interventions. Evanthia Sakellari has served as the PI and project lead on multiple EU-funded projects focused on health promotion in the community.
